1. For fun and self-reflection

Palmistry is for fun and self-reflection, not science. This automated reading may contain errors and is not a factual prediction, diagnosis, recommendation or professional advice. Do not use it to make medical, financial, legal or other important decisions. You remain responsible for your choices. Liability is limited only where permitted by law; your mandatory consumer and data-protection rights remain unaffected.

Palmistry is a cultural and storytelling tradition, not a scientifically validated way to determine personality, health, lifespan or future events. Personal language such as “I see” is part of the automated storytelling style; it is not a statement from a human practitioner or a verified fact about you.

Nothing in a reading is a recommendation to take or avoid a particular action. Consult appropriately qualified professionals for important decisions. Do not use this service to diagnose conditions, assess another person’s suitability for employment or services, or decide how they should be treated.

2. What the scanner can and cannot tell you

The software estimates visible features from your photograph or video and connects them to palmistry-inspired interpretations. Lighting, focus, pose, reconstruction and automated detection can all introduce errors. A heat map displays image contrast, not body temperature, health, energy or a medical measurement. A confidence score concerns detection, not whether a prediction is true.

Different scans can produce different findings. An unclear feature does not establish that it is absent. Illustrations, demonstration palms and the celestial brand artwork are examples or decoration, not your personal scan.

3. Your images and other people’s rights

Provide only images or videos you own or are authorised to use for this purpose. If someone else took the photograph, obtain any required permission from its copyright owner. If another person is shown, explain the processing and obtain their permission before submitting it. Do not upload material obtained without permission or containing unnecessary information about other people.

You retain your rights in the material you provide. You give Palm Lantern only the permission needed to process it for your requested reading and, if you choose, store and deliver your private report. This is not permission to sell your image, publish it in advertising or use it to train models.

You are responsible for checking your permissions. Palm Lantern does not independently establish the ownership of every submission or clear third-party rights on your behalf. We may restrict access to material reported to infringe rights. This does not remove our own legal obligations.

4. Your choice to scan and save

Before capture or analysis, you must actively confirm image permissions and the entertainment terms, and separately consent to processing for your reading. The boxes are not selected for you. Opening the website alone is not consent to analyse a palm.

Photo and video analysis takes place in your browser. A recorded video can remain in this browser for retry. Where storage is available, a completed reading and its images are also kept here for recovery for up to 7 days, as described in the Privacy notice. Anyone using the same browser profile may reopen that local copy. Saving a PDF is a separate action: the finished report, including its hand and heat-map images, and an associated palm image are then uploaded to private account storage.

You can stop before scanning, cancel an active analysis, or use “Withdraw and clear this reading” on the capture page. The Privacy page provides a control to remove the locally saved video and reading recovery copy. Delete uploaded reports or your account through My readings. Withdrawal does not undo processing already completed lawfully, and it cannot remove copies you downloaded or shared elsewhere.

5. Accounts, downloads and sharing

Keep your sign-in details private and use accurate account information. Your saved reports are private to your account. If you download or share a report, you control where that copy goes; consider that it contains a personal hand image. Do not present a report as a professional assessment or use someone else’s report without permission.

Children should use the experience only with a parent or guardian involved and with any consent required by applicable law. Do not use a reading to frighten, pressure or make important decisions for a child.

6. Fair use and service availability

Do not upload unlawful material, impersonate others, bypass access controls, attack the service or interfere with another person’s account. We may proportionately restrict abusive use to protect the service and other users.

We aim to keep the service available but cannot promise uninterrupted access, error-free scans or permanent availability of a particular feature. Keep your own downloaded copy of reports you want to retain. Material changes to these terms will be dated; changes requiring a new choice will require a new acknowledgment.

7. Responsibility and limits

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Palm Lantern does not accept liability for losses resulting from treating entertainment readings as factual predictions or professional advice, or from material you submit without the required permissions. You remain responsible for your decisions and your use of downloaded or shared content.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud, deliberate misconduct, gross negligence, or personal injury where applicable law prohibits exclusion. Nothing takes away mandatory consumer rights, data-protection rights, or access to a competent court. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining lawful provisions continue to apply.
